The WFAA Waste Awareness Level 2 e-learning training course provides the
learner with the understanding of the main drivers for waste management
and the current key legislative requirements. It provides training on
specific topics including:
- Main drivers for waste management
- Key waste management legislation
- Waste management regulations
- Duty of care requirements
- Waste classification
- Waste acceptance criteria
- Storage and segregation of waste
The level 2 course is suitable for individuals with a range of
responsibilities relating to waste management, and completion of the
course will provide comfort both at individual and management level that waste management issues are being considered appropriately.
The course includes an assessment comprising of multiple choice questions, and can be
delivered by CD-Rom or directly onto a Learning Management System. Other hosting methods are also available.
The course has been prepared by the Waste Facilities Audit Association (WFAA) and URS Corporation Ltd, in collaboration with an e-learning specialist.
